Peripheral Arterial Disease & Limb Salvage
Peripheral arterial disease (PAD) is a buildup of plaque in the arteries that carry blood to the legs. Early on it can cause cramping in the calves or thighs with walking that eases with rest. When it's advanced — a stage called chronic limb-threatening ischemia (CLTI) — it causes pain at rest, wounds that won't heal, or tissue loss, and it puts the leg itself at risk. My focus is restoring blood flow and keeping people on their feet.
